Lot Essay

With a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1994 and its subsequent sale on June 8th of the same year. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe leather presentation box.

To the best of our knowledge the present watch has never before been offered in public.

Known as the Gondolo Tank Bombée, Patek Philippe introduced the reference 5014 in 1993 and continued production until approximately 2005.

A similar model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches, by O. Patrizzi, Volume 2, p. 278, pl. 1161.
