Maker's mark Jacob Muntinck, Groningen, 1704/1705
On spreading domed base, chased with naturalistic foliage, the body inset with Westfrisian coins "Scheepjesschellingen", dated 1678 surrounded by stylised foliate ornaments, plain scroll handle with scroll thumb-piece, the domed cover also inset with a Nurnberg coin, date 1680 within a floral band
