Lot Essay

Ces deux statuettes ont été modelées par Peter Reinicke. L'Arlequine dansante fait partie de la série réalisée pour le duc de Weissenfels entre 1744 et 1747, dont les modèles s'inspirent de dessins de François Joulain illustrant l'Histoire du Théatre Italien de Riccoboni publiée à Paris en 1728.
