A set of six and one Chinese famille rose 'double peacock' plate
Qianlong (1735-1796)
Comprising three soup plates, two plates and a dinner plate decorated with a peacock and a peahen perched on rockwork among large flowering peony blossoms, within a spearhead-pattern band at the well, the rim painted with a pink diaper-pattern and flower-sprays, 23.2-26 cm. diam.; and a soup-plate painted en suite with a border decorated with flower-sprays, 22.5 cm. diam., minor damages (7)
