Lot Essay

On 6 June 1966 Bowie and his band the Buzz went to Pye Studios to record I Dig Everything, which was to be the next single, but Tony Hatch decided the song needed rearranging and that it would benefit from using session musicians. The released version was actually recorded on July 5, the Buzz not taking part. This was to be David Bowie's last recording for Pye.
