CIRCA 1875, THE DESIGN ATTRIBUTED TO EDWARD WILLIAM GODWIN (1833-1886), PROBABLY FOR WILLIAM WATT, MANUFACTURED BY W. WALKER & SONS
On ring turned legs joined by conforming stretchers, the lower structure in the form of a ship's wheel, the underside with applied metal label 'W. Walker & Sons, Cabinet Manufacturers, 119 Bunhill Row, London E.C.'
