of circular form, painted to the top roundel with birds amongst and within blossoming prunus branches issuing from stylised rockwork mounds on a typical black ground, the skirting band below with lobed whorl motifs beneath an aubergine glaze, raised on five scrolling beast-head supports -- 7¾in. (19.7cm.) wide, fitted box.
