A PAIR OF GLAZED POTTERY CRANE AND DEER JOSS STICK HOLDERS, 17TH CENTURY
the recumbent deer with their head turned to on side, the cranes perched upon their backs and supporting a baluster formed vase, the head of the deer with four apertures to support joss sticks, embellished with cream, cafe-au-lait and deep brown glazes -- 5½in. (14cm.) wide, fitted wood stands. (2)
