Each tapering on spreading foot, with a palmette border and leaf-capped handles, the covers with band of foliage and finial cast as a coat-of-arms below a coronet, the tureens further engraved with a coat-of-arms below a coronet, each marked near handles and inside covers

Baron Eugéne Fould and his wife Mitzi, only daughter and heiress of Baron Gustav Springer, an Austro-Hungarian industrial magnate and by descent.
