OF LOUIS XV STYLE, 19TH CENTURY, THE MOVEMENT BY FESTEAU LEJEUNE, PARIS
Decorated overall with floral sprays and garlands on a green ground, the glazed white enamel dial and twin-barrel movement signed 'FESTEAU LEJEUNE A PARIS, within a waisted case with pierced foliate mounts and surmounted by a foliate and rockwork finial, the movement with rectangular plates joined by plain pillars, twin barrels, anchor escapement, countwheel strike on bell, with repeat signature to back plate, on conforming scroll feet, the bracket conformingly-mounted and decorated
The cartel: 39¼ in. (100 cm.) high; 18¾ in. (47.5 cm.) wide; 8 in. (20.5 cm.) deep; the bracket: 17¾ in. (45 cm.) high; 22¾ in. (58 cm.) wide; 11½ in. (29 cm.) deep
