Gandhara, 2nd/3rd century
Seated in dhyanasana on a throne carved with lotus motifs, wearing a diaphanous robe draped in elaborate cascading folds, his face with a benign expression, elegant brows, raised urna, hair in finely incised locks, backed by a nimbus with a lotus petal border
