A gilt bronze figure of a Wrathful Vajrapani
Tibet, 18th century
Striding in alidhasana over snakes on a lotus base, with a vajra in his right hand and his left in tarjanimudra, wearing a tiger skin dhoti and garlands of snakes and heads, his face in a ferocious expression and flaming hair secured by a tiara, his face with cold gold and details highlighted in polychromy
