The later white marble top above laurel carved frieze above acanthus scroll legs joined by leaf stretcher with urn finial, the front rail stamped WRIGHT AND MANSFIELD

Lot Essay

Wright and Mansfield were one of the leading interior decorators of the late 19th century. They exhibited widely, including at the Great Exhibition of 1862 and the Paris Exposition of 1867. The company ceased trading in 1887.
