YUAN/EARLY MING DYNASTY, 13TH-15TH CENTURY
The face of the bodhisattva finely cast with crisp features outlined in thread relief, framed by long ears and hair pulled up behind a six-point openwork crown centered by the seated figure of Amitabha Buddha flanked by flower sprays, then leaf sprays and a 'fleur-de-lis' in back, all within beaded borders, with a casting hole behind each ear, allover rust-colored patina
