JIAQING SEAL MARK IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The ovoid body decorated in bright enamels on one side with a scaly five-clawed dragon pursuing a flaming pearl and on the other side with a long -tailed phoenix, all on a ground of cloud and foliate meander, below a ruyi band on the shoulder and formal lotus scroll on the neck, the domed cover painted en suite below a bud-form finial, the interior and base enameled turquoise
