A Dutch Delft 'mixed-technique' plaque
Mid 18th Century
Decorated with a pastoral scene after Nicolaes Berchem, depicting a maiden on horseback conversing with a farmer standing beside her in a field with cows and a goat, both pointing to the church in the distance, the shaped raised bracket cartouche reserved with vignettes of flower-heads and artemesia leaves, the crest at the top pierced, glaze frits
