A Dutch Delft polychrome tulip vase
First quarter 18th Century, marked LVE above 2 for Lambertus van Eenboorn
Of flattened oval form with seahorse side handles, the arched top with five knopped fingers centering beside four shorter fingers of similar shape, the front and back painted with flowering branches issuing from rockwork, the waisted rectangular foot reserved and painted with foliate scrolls and stylised flowerheads, some damage and restoration
