A Chinese wood toilet mirror box
late 19th Century
The lid carved with a Shou character surrounded by bats and folding open to a rectangular mirrors, the two front drawers decorated in relief with further shou symbols flanked by dragons, the sides with raised landscape panel with pavilions, all embellished with kingfisher feather and pigments behind glass panels, some damages and repair
17.5 cm. x 25 cm. x 32 cm.
