engraving with etching, aquatint and hand-coloring, circa 1836, on J Whatman watermark 1836, trimmed just within the platemark, the colors slightly attenuated, light- and time staining, scattered pale foxmarks and occasional soft handling creases, several soft scratches in the center subject, short tears and minute paper losses in places at the sheet edges, otherwise in good condition
