Mid 16th Century
(en camaïeu bleu) The baluster body decorated with spiralling spindly leaves enclosing florettes with an oblique contour panel inscribed with S. de. Acetosus.9 and T9, with dark blue spout issuing from a rosette, the neck with interlaced scrolls and with triple loop handle

Lot Essay

Acetosa is Sorrel (zuring) Rumex acetosa whereby leaves and root are used.
