Gouache heightened with gold on paper, a band of twelve acrobats support each other in a complex balancing act in a green landscape, some simultaneously smoking, playing instruments and brandishing swords, another figure looks on playing a drum, a large 8-pointed star beneath the acrobats, laid down between navy gold-illuminated minor borders and wide gold borders with polychrome floral illumination, slight scuffing and staining
