The circular white enamelled dial with Roman chapters signed FLEURY ROYER/A TROTES, the twin-going barrel movement with silk-suspended pendulum and countwheel strike on a bell, the spreading white marble inset case flanked by rockwork C-scrolls and surmounted by a boy in 18th century dress and flanked by an occasional table with a small book stand, on scrolling feet, with glass dome and gilt base, regilt and restorations
