AN EXTREMELY RARE PORCELAIN FIGURE OF 'THE GIRL WITH THE BROKEN JUG'
BY THE IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, 1817-1820
On a circular base, the seated figure with ciselé gilt detailing to her kokoshnik and blue sarafan, holding in one hand the handle of the broken jug, and in the other a kerchief, a circular basket beside her, with a detachable pounce pot in one side, on naturalistic ground, inscribed under base 'II W 1'
