AN OLD BABYLONIAN BLACK SERPENTINE CYLINDER SEAL
CIRCA 2000-1600 B.C.
With contest scene, showing two pairs of bullmen and human-headed bulls, in combat with each other, central standard surmounted by crescent, a 'ball-staff' in the field, a two line cuneiform inscription identifies the seal owner as "Ninshubur, vizier of Ishtar"
