MARK OF E. J. & W. BARNARD; E. & J. BARNARD, LONDON, 1850/52
Comprising: two tazzas, six dessert dishes, a gilt-plated stand with two silver-gilt dishes, all formed as overlapping grape leaves and grape bunches, the tazzas with spiral grape vine stem and pendant bunches, on conforming grape-leaf foot, the gilt-plated stand with spiral vine standard and fitted with a pair of silver-gilt grape shears, Walker & Hall, Sheffield, 1898, engraved on dishes and tazzas with a coat-of-arms, marked on fields and feet of tazzas, the gilt-plate stand apparently unmarked, the shears marked on blades
The tazzas 8¼ in. (21 cm.) high; 300 oz. 10 dwt. (9,361 gr.)
