Painted with bouquets of fruit in wooded vignettes, with a shell-moulded finial, gilt line rims, minor rim chips, a short hairline crack to rim, slight wear to gilt rims, slight flaking to enamels of one vignette

Lot Essay

This form of écuelle is almost certainly derived from a silver shape, while the landscape vignettes are probably painted by Giacomo Nani.
