Woven in wools and silks, probably depicting Jacob and Rachel, with the bearded Jacob in the foreground, Rachel and a further maiden fetching water at a spring in a wooded landscape with further water-carrying maiden beyond, within a scrolling foliate border decorated with flower heads and a later pink outer guard border, slightly reduced in width to right hand side of field, areas of restoration and reweaving
