A BRONZE GE BLADE, SHANG DYNASTY (1600-1100BC)
the blade with medium ridge on both sides tapering to a point from a ovoidal socket, with a straight tang projecting from the back; and a bronze spearhead, with medium ridge on both sides tapering to a point from a cylindrical socket, two lines of calligraphy in archaic script to one side, Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220) -- the first, 7 3/8in. (18.8cm.) long, each with wood stand. (2)
