These figures are modelled on similar terms formerly at Lord Burlington's Chiswick House and now at Chatsworth House. A further group of terms, of 1759, by Sefferin Alken, in the Formal Garden at Longford Castle, Wiltshire, relate to drawings in Isaac Ware's A Complete Body of Architecture. 1756.
