A GILT-METAL MOUNTED MEISSEN PORCELAIN SNUFF-BOX AND COVER
CIRCA 1770, THE MOUNT WITH A HALLMARK
Painted with garlands of flowers radiating like spokes of a wheel from the center of the top of the box, extending down the sides and across the bottom of the box to join together in the center, the interior of the cover with a still-life of flowers spilling from a basket being overturned by the mischevious parrot at the left
