Tasting Note: At its best. Many notes from glorious, generously endowed in cask to the Grand Awards 'Super-seconds' tasting in New York. Now maturing; rich, ripe (52 Merlot in '89), open, biscuity; sweet, delicious fruit and flavour. Still tannic. Last noted in October 1999 ****(*) Now - 2015 M.B.
