Contemporary black morocco, sides stamped in blind, upper sides lettered in gilt, edges gilt, moiré silk endpapers (neatly rebacked to style, some wear to the endpapers). Provenance: Grand Duke Vladimir Aleksandrovich (bookplates) -- a 20th-century reader (inscription on one rear endpaper) -- 'printed in Russia' (import stamp).
