Lithographic dedication to Queen Victoria, 40 hand-coloured tinted lithographic plates including the title, 19 with key-plates on facing leaf, extra illustrated with 2 portraits and 1 view. (Plates 15, 20, 23, and 27 trimmed and mounted at time of reback, some soiling, some spotting mainly affecting the dedication and scattered in some margins, a few short marginal tears some of these repaired.) Original cloth boards rebacked in the early 20th century (rubbed and scuffed, rear endpapers dampstained, front endpapers renewed).
