A RARE PAIR OF SMALL HUANGHUALI AND HUAMU SCHOLAR'S DESK CABINETS
QING DYANSTY, 18TH CENTURY

Each with the protruding top frame supported on corner posts of square section enclosing single huanghuali panels at the top, sides and back, the two rectangular wood-hinged doors inset with a well-figured huamu panel, the doors opening to reveal two huanghuali shelves dividing the interior into three sections below a pair of small drawers set above the top shelf, all above plain aprons joining the short legs
