A RARE WHITE JADE OPENWORK 'DRAGON' FINIAL
YUAN DYNASTY (1279-1368)

Finely carved and pierced in openwork with a writhing dragon grasping a 'flaming pearl' amongst scrolling foliage and flowers on an oval base, the stone of an even tone with one grey inclusion to the head of the dragon
2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.) wide
