QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY

The compressed globular body well hollowed on the interior, the exterior flanked by a pair of mythical lion-head, each ferocious head issuing a loop handle suspending a loose ring, supported on three cabriole legs emerging from lion-masks; the tall domed cover surmounted by a bushy-tailed mythical lion, its lively body turned with one paw on a ball, acommpanied by its young, the semi-translucent stone of an even tone
