MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912)
The bowl painted in underglaze blue and red with carp swimming amongst the outlines of a river, raised on a wood stand decorated in gilt lacquer and inlaid mother of pearl with grassy leaves and stems
The bowl, 12in. (30.5cm.) wide.
