A GEORGE III PARCEL-GILT MAHOGANY OPEN ARMCHAIR
BY I DURANT, LATE 18TH CENTURY
The oval-shaped padded back with carved urn and trailing hair-bell decoration to top rail, the acanthus scroll arms on fluted supports above a drop-in seat, the front leg stamped 'I DURANT', on foliate scroll and fluted cabriole legs
