A EUROPEAN BRONZE FIBULA
SOUTH-CENTRAL EUROPE, BRONZE AGE, CIRCA 12TH-10TH CENTURY B.C.
The body formed from five lengths of wire, all square in section, joined together by three straps, one with a long pin coiled at one end, extending along the length, spiraled and then looped to form the catch-plate, and four lengths of wire coiled into double spirals to the left and right of the central wire
