by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, circa 1840
Decorated in the Sèvres style with four flower sprays to the border within gilt mirror-shaped cartouches issuing scrolling foliage and flowers on a dark blue ground, gilt with a pebble pattern, within a shaped gilt dentil rim, marked with blue underglaze crowned Cyrillic monogram 'NI', gilder's number '75', and incised '5'
