A Porcelain Figure Of A Seated Drinker
By the Kornilov Brothers Factory, St Petersburg, circa 1850
Modelled sitting, the gentleman with dark long hair wearing a dark-pink frock-coat, blue breeches, black three-cornered hat and shoes, holding a red jug with beer frothing at the top, on a gilt foot, marked under with red underglaze beneath the Imperial double-headed eagle with the Cyrillic signature 'Kornilov Brothers', decorated with a figurative cartouche, beneath the cartouche the Cyrillic signature 'in St Petersburg'
