Lot Essay

Maurice Pré, a French decorator and furniture designer, worked in Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann's atelier for eight years and participated with the Art Deco master in the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, Paris, 1925. Known for his combination of furniture materials, Pré taught at École Boulle, Paris.
