Kangxi six character mark and of the period (1662-1722)
Incised on the exterior with a pair of five-clawed dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl, between fire-scrolls and cloud-whorls, above a band of rolling waves encircling the base, all picked out in green enamels reserved on a dark yellow ground, the interiors glazed white
