Swamped barrel formed in two stages, struck with makers monogram AD in a cartouche and dated 1582, flat lock, safety-catch, the pan with a flush-fitting sliding cover, fruitwood full stock inlaid with engraved beaded spiralling lines, iron trigger, iron side-plate, ramrod-pipe, later iron-tipped ramrod, inventory label 225, inventory number in ink II 5 157
