Provenance
(Probably) Painted for the artist's house in Rue Goeffrey-l'Angevin (listed in the 1746 inventory), and by inheritance to his daughter,
Elizabeth-Marguerite de Largillierre (1701-1757), who bequeathed it to her second husband,
Jacques de Faverolles (as listed in her post-mortem inventory, 1757), and by descent.
