Lot Essay

These two cartoons from the 1960s refer to the popularity of pirate radio stations such as Radio Caroline which were able to play Pop music at a time when the licensed radio stations did not. Radio Caroline was the subject of a recent film directed by Richard Curtis called The Boat That Rocked.
