In the 'Mandarin palette', enameled front and back with rocaille cartouches of equestrian figures and their hounds in pursuit of foxes, the sides with bamboo-edged panels of birds perched among rockwork, the interior with a huntsman on foot and bands of key-pattern, scrolling vine, trellis and scale pattern at the rim
