Of oval form, the spreading lid with acorn finial above a gadrooned base, flanked by rams' mask handles, on a waisted socle and stepped rectangular plinth, and giltwood base, the reverse of lid with a blue bordered label inscribed 'N.19356/SORHFO', the gilding later, the giltwood base probably later
