A Bronze Figure of Ratnasambhava
Western Tibet, 14th/15th century
Seated in dhyanasana over a double-lotus base with a beaded rim, the hands in varada- and dhyanamudra, the palms with raised chakras, adorned with various ornaments inset with hardstones, the face with straight nose and heavy-lidded silver eyes, centered by a raised urna, flanked by large hoop earrings, the wavy locks of hair pulled into a high chignon and secured with a tall tiara, backed by an aureola inscribed with the eight auspicious symbols
