Seated on an elaborate throne at center holding the stem of a large pink lotus and clad in billowing multicolored robes, with a raging battle scene below and Ushnishavijaya flanked by heavenly vignettes above

Lot Essay

Rudra Chakrin is the last of the twenty-five kings of Shambhala. The battle scene in the lower register depicts the war to cleanse the world from evil.
